Goodbye Winter, Hello Spring! Ross Auxiliary invites families to kick off Spring on Saturday, April 19th. Join us for kid-centric activities, food and drink at the Ross Commons. From spring science to bunnies, kids music to spring cookie kits—it’s a celebration of all things Spring!
KID ACTIVITIES
Cookie Decorating
PRE-ORDER Paint Your Own Cookie Decorating Kits and pick them up at Spring Fling. Take them home to enjoy or decorate at the event—we’ll have tables set up with everything kids need to paint their cookies! These kits go towards supporting Ross Auxiliary and their community events.
Bay Area Discovery Museum Try-it Truck
Experiment with the Bay Area Discovery Museum’s Try-it Truck, an engineering lab on wheels with 6 multi-sensory spring science activity stations. There will be lots to explore, tinker and discover for kids of all ages.
Bunny Petting Zoo
Get ready for cuteness overload from Better with Bunnies! Your little ones can meet and enjoy some cuddles with adorable bunnies in an interactive environment. Hop on over to create some cherished memories! Donations encouraged.
Music by the Wee Yogis Band
Get ready to groove and sing along as the amazing Wee Yogis Band takes the stage! From classic nursery rhymes to family favorites, this live music will have everyone clapping, dancing and laughing.
Face Painting and Balloon Twisting
Kids will have a blast getting their faces painted with vibrant designs by our talented face painters, or choosing a balloon creation from Mr. SHAP, a family favorite balloon artist. There’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Egg Hunts
We’ll have three egg hunts—for ages 0-2 yrs old, 3-5 yrs old, and 6+—starting at 11:30am on the grass. Be sure to bring your own basket. Also, since the plastic eggs can not be recycled, please deposit them in our Egg Collection Bin after the hunt so they can be refilled and reused next year.
FOOD & DRINK
Early Bird Tacos
Fuel up with killer, organic scrambled egg breakfast tacos served on a flour tortilla. It’s a delicious grab and go option available for purchase from our Early Bird Tacos Tent.
Johnny’s Donuts
Johnny’s artisanal doughnuts are handcrafted with the finest organic cool milled wheat flour and ingredients from locally sourced vendors.
Other food and beverages, both complimentary and for purchase will be available.
